Dr. Polishchuk is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction as well as orthopedic trauma. His focus is on minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery as well as revision hip and knee replacement surgery.

This educational seminar will be on Wednesday, September 18 from 6 – 7:30 PM at McClellan Street Health Center’s Robb Auditorium.

OrthoNY to Welcome New Physician in Schenectady

 Total joint replacement specialist will join the group in December

 (ALBANY, NY) – OrthoNY will welcome Dr. Daniil Polishchuk on December 1. He will see patients primarily in the group’s Schenectady office, 530 Liberty Street, performing surgeries at nearby Ellis Hospital. He will also practice at the Clifton Park location, 103 Sitterly Road.

Dr. Polishchuk earned his medical degree, with a distinction in research, from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey before holding a fellowship with Columbia University at New York-Presbyterian Hospital’s Center for Hip and Knee Replacement.

 Dr. Polishchuk’s extensive orthopaedic research has been published numerous times, and while a senior resident, recognized as the best of the year. Fluent in both English and his native Russian, he has practiced orthopaedic surgery at Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown, New York, since 2012.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Polishchuk to Schenectady,” said Alan Okun, CEO. “His expertise in total joint replacement will truly benefit our patients, complementing the care already being provided by our physician team there.”
