The ROSA® Knee is a robotically-assisted surgical system designed to help perform total replacement of the joint. Combining robotic technology with industry-leading knee implants, the system allows surgeons to personalize procedures for their patients. It includes features to aid with bone resections, and assess the state of soft tissues for optimal implant positioning while operating. Data provided by ROSA® Knee assists with complex decision-making and enables physicians to use computer and software technology to control and move surgical instruments for greater precision and flexibility.
One of the most commonly performed elective surgeries, total joint replacement has become increasingly more popular as an outpatient procedure. OrthoNY physicians started introducing the option to eligible patients within the past year.
