The South Glens Falls High School hosted their 36th Annual Marathon Dance on March 1st and 2nd, 2013 raising $489,716.27, bringing their total over 36 years to $3.639 million! The dance has donated money to over 259 causes and individuals. This year the student committee selected 40 worthy causes to which they donate their funds. OrthoNY has many employees who are either alumni or have children attending the district. These employees are Katie Coons, Cassandra Coons, Kim Bovee, Melinda Barody, Tamara Sillero, Arlynne Deloriea, Cheri Manning, Judy Clarke, Lauren Moreau, and Ashley Farrell. Katie Coons, one of the alumni, is on the CORE Committee and is the head of the kitchen which fed 710 student dancers 4 1/2 meals with the help of a co-partner and volunteers.
