Important COVID-19 Update as of May 18th
Effective May 18th, OrthoNY will begin to reopen most of our offices and services. We will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the NYS Department of Health to ensure that we do everything possible to keep our offices safe for our patients, staff and providers.
Urgent Care services are available in our Albany, Saratoga and Schenectady locations. Albany Urgent Care will be open Monday-Friday, from 8 – 8 and Saturday and Sunday from 8 – 2. Saratoga Urgent Care will be open Monday-Friday from 8 -5 as well as on Saturday from 9 – 12 and our Schenectady Urgent Care will be open Monday – Friday from 8 – 5. Please note – the last patient check-in is 15 minutes prior to the posted closing. Our Ambulatory Surgery Centers have been open for emergent cases; however, we are currently awaiting guidelines from the DOH to be able to resume all elective cases. Our Albany Physical Therapy office remains open for patients who need post-op/emergent care and we’ll be opening up our other two locations in June.
OrthoNY will continue to screen patients upon arrival, enforce social distancing guidelines and limit the amount of visitors in our offices. You may be asked to wait in your car and be called in for your appointment in the event social distancing cannot be maintained due to high traffic; you will also be required to wear a face covering during your visit to any of our locations. Our offices have gone through a deep clean process and are sterilized throughout the day and every evening. These processes have been implemented to help keep our patients and staff healthy and safe.
If you are a patient considered high-risk, have traveled and/or have symptoms of a fever, cough, or respiratory issues, please call our office before coming to your appointment or using our walk-in clinics. We will continue to offer tele-medicine appointments for our patients and may be able to help you avoid an unnecessary office visit.
