Please join OrthoNY for a peer-to-peer educational seminar addressing the basics of bone and joint care for Primary Care physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. The program will outline recommendations to help manage the orthopaedic conditions most often seen in primary clinical practice. Attendees will learn in-depth musculoskeletal examinations of specific joints in a small group setting.

Educational Objectives

  1. Determine how to diagnose orthopaedic conditions presented in clinical practice.
  2. Formulate differential diagnoses of orthopaedic conditions
  3. Identify and select appropriate tests and imaging protocols
  4. Determine appropriate treatment
  5. Recognize which orthopaedic conditions require a specialist referral
