OrthoNY Donates $24,000 to Albany Area Nonprofits

OrthoNY donated a total of $24,000 to six area charities during the recent holiday season. Gifts of $4,000 were made to the Boys & Girls Club of Schenectady, Capital City Rescue Mission (Albany), City Mission of Schenectady, Code Blue Saratoga Springs, Focus Churches Interfaith Food Pantry of Albany and Saratoga Community Health Center.

OrthoNY Community Outreach

All of the selected organizations are safe havens, providing essential human services in communities where OrthoNY’s patients, physicians and staff live and work. The Boys & Girls Club is a place for children and teens to learn and grow, offering disadvantaged youth in particular hope and opportunity. Both the Capital City Rescue Mission and City Mission of Schenectady welcome anyone needing assistance with food, shelter and emergency support. Code Blue is an emergency shelter serving the homeless in Saratoga Springs during extreme winter weather.

OrthoNY’s donation to Focus Churches Interfaith Food Pantry will support outreach for hunger relief. The contribution to Saratoga Community Health Center will provide high-quality, routine medical care, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

“OrthoNY and its physicians are pleased to be able to contribute to the communities we care for,” stated Leonard Goldstock, MD, President. “We recognize that there are human needs beyond broken bones and painful joints, and are committed to Saving Lifestyles however we can.”

Your bone and joint experts at OrthoNY are committed to Saving Lifestyles through whole orthopaedic care in Albany, Clifton Park, Delmar, East Greenbush, Glens Falls, Latham, Malta, Saratoga Springs and Schenectady.
