Dr. William Montgomery, fellowship-trained spine surgeon from OrthoNY, will be the chairman of a minimally invasive spine (MIS) course on August 1, 2014 in Saratoga Springs. The program entitled, “Foundational Techniques in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Regional Meeting” is being presented to spine surgeons from throughout the northeast. This hands-on course will offer participants an opportunity to learn and explore a variety of minimally invasive spinal techniques.
Didactic content and cadaveric workshops will focus on the management of spinal pathologies using Stryker technologies. Participants will learn how to evaluate MIS techniques including MIS decompression and TLIF. They will also discuss the management of possible complications arising during and after surgery and many other important topics.
