Rebecca VanWie graduated from Cornell University with a bachelors degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society. After graduation, she worked as an EMT before pursuing her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Albany Medical College.
She is a board certified Physician Assistant in New York State. She began her career working in the emergency room before transitioning to orthopedics. She joined OrthoNY in 2019, working with Dr. Laura Scordino on the hand and upper extremity in both the office and operating room.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys camping, skiing, and board games with family and friends.
