Timing is everything, even when it comes to having knee replacement surgery. Latest statistics tell us 90% of Americans are waiting too long to have their knee replaced, whereas 25% are having the surgery too early and missing out on the best benefits. Yes, timing is everything! Let’s discover when to proceed, and what exactly are the risks of delaying knee replacement surgery.
As New York continues to reopen and elective surgeries resume, OrthoNY can offer patients a new option for total knee replacement, the first of its kind in the state. Zimmer Biomet’s ROSA® Knee System is now available at both OrthoNY Surgical Suites in Clifton Park and Albany’s new Everett Road Surgery Center.
Knee replacement surgeries are a safe and effective way to help patients improve mobility, have less pain, and resume normal activities. In fact, many patients often wonder why they waited so long to finally address their pain.
On the other hand, there are those who are less than satisfied with their decision, and here are some of the biggest mistakes that led them to that unfortunate result.
