The winners of the 2018 Northeastern Women’s Golf Association senior and super senior titles, Anne Van Buren and Linda Kolnick, will be sending their championship photo to their orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lee Kaback, of OrthoNY, who repaired both their shoulders. “We highly recommend him.” Van Buren said. The two women were awarded their titles at Cobleskill Golf and Country Club, Thursday Sept. 13, 2018.
Van Buren’s championship in 2017 was the culmination of a comeback year for her after she missed most of 2016 recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Weckter said she broke her arm last year and had to miss the entire season 2017 season.
