Prior to being named CEO in 2017, Julie served as OrthoNY’s Chief Financial Officer. She had held that position since the practice was formed by the merger of Northeast Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Associates of Saratoga in January 2013. Before that, she managed Northeast Orthopaedics’ finances for more than five years, directing all aspects of the group’s fiscal reporting, from initial budgeting to the presentation and analysis of financial statements.
Previously, Julie was the Chief Fiscal Officer/Vice President of Finance for United Community & Family Services in Norwich, Connecticut. In this role, she was responsible for daily operations of the finance, health services administration and IT departments at the $16-million Federally Qualified Health Center.
Julie has also held accounting positions at People, Inc. in Williamsville, New York, and Lucker, Kennedy & Felmeden in Buffalo. She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Siena College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
