Dr. Joshua Ross is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained pain management physician. Using a multimodal, evidence-based approach, Dr. Ross treats a wide variety of pain conditions including neck and back pain, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and CRPS. He performs an array of fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures including steroid injections, nerve ablations, and spinal cord stimulation. He also has great interest in innovation in pain management and is excited to implement novel technologies and minimally-invasive therapies in the fields of neuromodulation and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Ross earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Following graduation, he completed an internship in general surgery at North Shore-LIJ Hospital and then continued his residency training in anesthesiology at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As a resident, Dr. Ross was honored with the Sir James Young Simpson Award for excellence in pain medicine and regional anesthesia. He continued training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he completed a fellowship in chronic pain medicine. Dr. Ross served as chief fellow and was again recognized for excellence in pain medicine with the Dell Burkey Award.
Dr. Ross is a member of the New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Spine Intervention Society and regularly attends academic conferences to stay current on cutting-edge treatments and evidence-based care.
